• For EBSCO books, go to EBSCO, Log in (details here), and read online or download PDF.
• For IT books from O’Reilly, Que, etc., go to Safari Tech Books and read online (Flash 9+ req.)

Log in to get PLS eBooks

    • EBSCO1 week checkout period, or read online

      • FROM INSIDE A PLS LIBRARY go to EBSCO on a library PC, your laptop, or your mobile device

      • Click Sign In

      • Click Create a new Account

      • Fill out the form and click Save Changes

      • Now visit EBSCO from anywhere, and log in using the name & password you created

    • OpenLibrary.org No limit on public domain ebooks; 2 week checkout for Lending Library ebooks

      • No login required for 1,000,000 eBooks in public domain (most published before the 20th century)

      • Click Sign Up and create a username & password to join the eBook Lending Library, and also get 110,000 books published in the 20th century.

    • Safari IT Books no checkout, must be read online; iPad/iPhone users can cache one book at a time for offline reading, using Safari To Go app

      • Log in with your PLS Library card # to read eBooks online
